HOW TO ENTER: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE A TEAM OF AT LEAST TWO AND MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YOUTH MEMBER. Registration must be completed before any emailed photos are received. Each photo must contain at least one youth member of the team. Registration may only be completed by parent/guardian. Photos must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the last day of the contest.
PRIZES: Prizes vary and winners will have a well-rounded selection of prizes to choose from. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of participating teams. The estimated retail value of the prizes are between $100 and $300.
WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected based on total point values accumulated. All decisions regarding prize awards will be made by the Elves on the Run Committee and are final and binding.
ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to anyone. ELFIE-SELFIES (photos) MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE YOUTH MEMBER IN THE PHOTO ALONG WITH THE ELF IN THE SAME PHOTO. See our Photos section for sample acceptable photos.
GENERAL TERMS: All entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Elves on the Run Committee Any/all photos submitted to the contest become the property of the Elves on the Run Committee. Some photos will be posted on the Elves on the Run social media sites.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified via phone and/or email. Prize pick up will be arranged with the Elves on the Run Committee within two weeks of the end of the contest.
CONDITIONS: All entrants agree to release the Elves on the Run Committee, all associated organizations, volunteers, and “Elf Hosts” from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to persons or property which may be sustained directly or indirectly with the receipt, ownership, use or misuse of any prize awarded, or for any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of any prize, or any tactics/processes utilized to participate in the scavenger hunt contest.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Elves on the Run Committee reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or to be acting in violation of the official rules of the Elves on the Run contest. The Elves on the Run Committee reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and determine the winner from entries received prior to the action taken.
I knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and waive any and all rights, claims, or causes of actions of any kind that no individuals, homeowners, businesses, volunteers or participants shall be liable for any damages of any sort arising from my participation in Elves on the Run.
