🎄 Elves on the Run: Holiday Hunt Update 🎄
The elves had to dash to the North Pole today,
To patch up the cracks in Santa’s sleigh.
But the gingerbread folk, both women and men,
Came out to play and join us again!
So search for the elves and gingerbread too,
Take photos of both to earn points for your crew.
Elfie-Selfies and Ginger-Snaps bring cheer,
Thanks for helping Santa’s friends this year!
Most of Santa’s elves had to hurry back to the North Pole to repair his sleigh. But don’t worry—their sweet friends, the gingerbread crew, have come to play! You’ll now be searching for elves and gingerbread crew during the hunt. Be sure to take pictures with them to help spread the holiday cheer.

HOW TO PLAY
Contest runs between FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 8:00am and ends MONDAY, DECEMBER 29th, midnight. (The date to submit your photo’s was extended by 2 days since we had such frightful weather the weekend of 13th & 14th.)
Register to participate between now and Saturday, December 20, 2025. Registrations received after midnight on the 20th will not be entered into the contest.
A variety of clues leading you to where the elves and ginger crew are hiding will be available on the Clues Page at 8:00am on Friday, November 21st.
Follow the clues, and when you find an elf or a member of the ginger crew, take a photo!
• Elf photos are called “Elfie-Selfies.”
• Gingerbread photos are called “Ginger-Snaps.”
• There maybe both Elves and Ginger Crew together.
THE PHOTOS WILL BE PUBLISHED ON ELVESONTHERUN.ORG.
DO NOT REMOVE THE ELF OR GINGERBREAD CREW FROM ITS HIDING SPOT
• The photo must include the elf/gingerbread crew and at least one youth for it to count.
• Only youth between ages 1 and 17 are eligible to win prizes.
• Email your photos to elvesontherun@outlook.com with your team name in the subject line.
• Example: <Team Name> found an elf or <Team Name> found a gingerbread person.
• After review, your photos will be uploaded to ElvesOnTheRun.org.
• Please send your photos as you find them so we can keep an accurate point count.
• Emails must be timestamped no sooner than November 21, 8:00am and no later than December 29th, midnight to be eligible.
• The Elves on the Run team will review submissions, credit points, and notify teams of their final scores and winner status by January 1.
